Next week at rehearsal I’ll hand out a slip of paper to survey the choir on the idea of making performance on May 11th optional. We discussed this at the retreat and at Music Committee, and I think we should test the idea. For a few members, it might be a more rewarding day to only perform one, rather than both shows. This could alleviate a bit of the crowding on the risers. I also like the idea of ‘loosening up’ a bit, so long as we have a very great show.
Be ready to fill out a little slip indicating that you will or will not perform the afternoon show, and that you will or will not perform the evening show.
I am very curious to see the result of this!
