- The church will be decorated for the May concert. There is a sign-up sheet (name, phone, email) on the bulletin board for those interested in joining this group.
FROM MUSIC COMMITTEE (Diana Hopkins-Rosseel)
- All members will soon receive an email from your section leaders with a request. Please respond as soon as possible to allow for planning of the May concert which will involve some experimentation with mixed formation.
- Kudos to your section leaders for all their hard work!
Community Gigs
V.O.N. LUNCH COMMUNITY GIG (Linda Williams)
- A sign-up sheet will be posted on the Music Table next week for the VON lunch on Friday April 10, meeting about 11:45, finishing at 1pm, at Bay Park Baptist Church in the west end. Please think about joining this fun event!
Other
CLEAN UP (Shauna Peart)
- Please put folding chairs into the wooden carts, not against the wall. Also, if anyone can help to wheel the carts into the storage room after they are full, that would be appreciated.
CHOIR SOCIAL (Wendy Stewart)
- The next choir social is on April 1. Basses and Altos are asked to bring snacks/refreshments.
MESSAGE OF THANKS (Lilith Wyatt)
- Elliot (Tenor) and his wife, Cara, send thanks for the beautiful card from the choir, which was filled to the edges with individual messages from all members, not just Tenors. The new baby has arrived weighing a robust 9.5 lbs, and they are adjusting well to their new family of five. That said, Elliot is looking forward to rejoining the choir again soon.
