Pretty slim on the announcements this week, on the 10th regular rehearsal night out of 16 this term, but we’re in the swing of things! Read below to catch up. There was a presentation by Liam about OV 25th Anniversary, an invitation to next week’s music committee meeting, and a thank you to community gig participants.

Concert

JANUARY 2027 CONCERT    (Liam Noronha)

• Liam presented a slideshow covering the theme, “With a Little Help from My Friends,” and set list for the January 2027 concert, which will celebrate Open Voices 25th anniversary.

• The next meeting is next Wednesday, Apr 22 – 6:00PM-6:50PM in the Friendship Room. All members are welcome to attend.

Community Gigs

V.O.N. LUNCH COMMUNITY GIG    (Dianne Dowling)

• Thank you to all 25 members who participated in singing at this community gig. Feedback was great; clients and staff alike enjoyed it. It was shared that some clients signed up specifically because they heard that OV was singing. Choir members are encouraged to join these community gigs when they can.
